DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- The successful candidate will work directly with clients to promote the loan products.
- Assist clients to determine their credit needs.
- Manage the application process and ensure prompt delivery and repayment of loans.
- Track portfolio performance and provide periodic portfolio information.
- Initiate client contact.
- Interview clients to determine eligibility and repayment capacity.
- Prepare and submit loan applications for approval.
- Follow-up with clients to ensure prompt repayment.
- Monitor portfolio and implement appropriate action in a timely manner when payments are late.
QUALIFICATION/EXPERIENCE
- A Degree in Business Administration or appropriate discipline
- At least 3-5 years experience in underwriting micro and small business loans
REQUIREMENTS- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Strong sales and negotiating skills
- Excellent oral and written communications skills
- Good planning and organizing skills
- Good analytical skills
- Competency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite
